Machined from certified NAB or SAB bar by UK subcontract machinists working to our purchase specification. Manufactured to the DEF STAN 02-862 Part 2 route where the drawing requires it, with heat treatment and stress relief records.

Tier-one naval prime, Portsmouth surface ship refit. RFQ received mid-morning with a same-day deadline. Two off M24 × 240 NAB studs to a customer drawing: shouldered, specified clearance and bush diameters, etched with part number. Material to DEF STAN 02-833 Part 2, manufacture and post-machining to 02-862 Part 2 Para 8.2.4. Quoted 39 minutes after the RFQ arrived, with material cert, heat treatment cert and CoC. Order placed five days later.
Marine valve manufacturer, West Midlands. A spreadsheet of 45 lines covering NAB and SAB eye bolts and security bolts to the customer's own drawings, bleed screws, nyloc nuts to DEF STAN 02-834, grub screws to NES 834, socket caps in DEF STAN 02-879 material, plus stainless spindles and circlips — each line with its own certification requirement, mostly EN 10204 3.1 with heat numbers etched on the part. Full line-by-line quote returned the next working day, in the customer's own order, with the handful of items needing a drawing flagged rather than guessed.
Same naval prime, a later RFQ. Twelve lines of aluminium silicon bronze hex bolts, hex set screws, nuts and washers, M4 to M12, called up as "AL SI BRZ BS 3692" with material to DEF STAN 02-834 Part 2 and Manufacture & Post Machining to 02-862 Part 2 Para 8.2.5. Quotation deadline was the following day. Quoted the same afternoon; purchase order received with CoC, traceability and REACH conditions, all met as standard.
